The development of urbanization, digital signage displays by virtue of 2G/3G/4G wireless network, multimedia technology integration, in the form of media release processing, timely interaction with customer feedback information in this form, has spread to every country, even every corner.
Digital signage displays is widely used in finance, telecommunications, hospitals, stores, supermarkets, hotels, public places and other fields; however, digital signage displays has a bit more decentralized characteristics, the traditional media advertising operators mainly use the form of wired network and manual replacement of advertising storage devices, and now very popular is the use of 4G network on the digital signage displays to control and publish advertising.
Let us check the difference between 2G/3G/4G.
1. 2G theoretical network speed is 150Kbps, equivalent to a download speed of 15-20K / s; 2G is the second generation of cell phone communication technology specifications to digital voice transmission technology as the core. It is generally defined as a cell phone communication technology specification that cannot directly transmit information such as e-mail, software, etc.; it only has calls and some transmission such as time and date.
2. 3G theoretical network speed of 1-6Mbps, equivalent to a download speed of 120K/s-600K/s; refers to the cellular mobile communication technology that supports high-speed data transmission. 3G services can simultaneously transmit voice and data information, the rate is generally more than a few hundred kbps.
3. 4G theoretical network speed of 10-100Mbps, equivalent to a download speed of 1.5M/s-10M/s; is a combination of 3G and WLAN in one, and can quickly transfer data, high quality, audio, video and images, etc. 4G can download at speeds of more than 100Mbps, and can meet the requirements of almost all users for wireless services.
A very simple example: the same thing, 2G network era, users can browse some text content on the Internet, open the picture will be delayed, not smooth enough. 3G era, users can browse the network very smooth pictures, all kinds of web news, etc.
4G network is even better, watching HD movies can be seen in seconds. The most essential difference between the three is the speed difference, the latest 4G network can be comparable to 20M broadband, second to watch HD movies, the speed is super fast.
All of our digital signage displays are basically using 4G, some customers are asking for 5G, but we don't recommend it! For 5G, we found that there is some instability in using it in digital signage displays, and some software is not compatible, resulting in the speed of 5G is almost the same as 4G. We recommend that customers choose 4G, which is affordable and stable.
