What is IP55 & IP65?
IP55 or IP65 is a designation assigned to enclosures that are both dust-tight and waterproof. In order for an enclosure to be IP55 or IP65 rated, it must pass a series of tests that ensure it is sealed against dust ingress and can withstand low pressure water jets from all directions. In other words, an IP55 & IP65 enclosure can protect your digital signage investment from just about anything the outdoors can throw at it.
